Authorize Zerodha to carry out the transition:
When you are going to sell stock on Zerodha, you will be prompted with a message that you need to authorize the stock on CDSL to complete the order as per the new stock regulations. You need to click on continue, read the instruction and click continue again.
On the page — Authorize Sale Transaction, you will be prompted to confirm the stocks and quantities you wish to sell. Next, click on ‘Continue to CDSL .’ The page will ask you to enter the TPIN you received from CDSL. Next, click on ‘Verify .’ The CDSL page will show you the list of stock and quantities you wish to sell. You will get the OTP on your registered email id and via SMS, you need to enter to validate the selling transition.
CDSL TPIN is good to use for 90 days. After that, the trader can add the stocks on the preauthorized sell list on the Zerodha platform to make it easy to withdraw whenever he wishes to sell the stocks.
